MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

We had all nine kids and their spouses and Binti the baby here. My Grandmother came too! What a great family day making food, ginger bread houses, sledding , eating, bowling, eating, lots of laughing and video making! Did I mention eating too? We had every one select a favorite dish and that is what we made for Christmas dinner!!! I choose chocolate mousse, of course. the food was great and the family even better. Check my face book out for the videos and the cooking show we made. Did I tell you about the food?
the BEST thing is that my oldest sister Grace and her husband told us another baby will be here in August 2010! YAAY. Christmas is all about BABIES right!!?????????

Karate AWARDS!!!!!!

I Passed !!! I will be testing in May for black Belt!! I broke my boards too!

My sister and mom are black belts my little sister is also red belt.

Clarkston Lights Parade 2009

I was invited to ride with the Oakland County Fair Royalty in the Clarkston Parade. It is held after dark and all the floats are so pretty. I also rode with Hayley eisenhardt , Miss Michigan Teen United States 2009

AMAA Tang Soo Do karate testing 2009

I was so nervous as i am testing for first gup permant red belt. Next May 2010 i will be testing for my Black Belt.
Awards and demos are in one week. I do my board breaks next week

Thanks giving with my family in Phoneix AZ 2009

We had a great three days in Phoniex AZ with my entire family! All of my 8 brothers and isters and my oldests sister and her husband and baby. B My aunt and all fo her children and my uncle with his family and my Grand mother. We had a family gathering for thanksgivning dinner on Saturday with games and food foood foood.
We also had a family meeting for personal growth and idea sharing. Fantasitc weather in AZ

Thanksgiving Day Parade Detroit Michgian Nov26 7AM

Thanks giving Day Parade line up at 7 AM. I rode on the i Groups float the 'Princess Float" there were the princess from the i Group scholarship and the band DAy 26 played.  It was super cold so I wore the fake fur coat and stayed super warm with my hot pink dress peeking out. Detroit had a huge turnout and so many of my friends saw me televised that day. I had a flight to Phoneix at noon and I made it!!

ARC Celebrity Fashion Show Livingston County

I was a guest model for the ARC Hliday fashion show extravaganza. What a fantastic event this was. The food , the clothes , the raffles and the PEOPLE!!! this was a fundraiser for disabled and handicaped children and was fantastic. The first item raffledd was a puppy form the rescue league that went for 800.00!!
The MC Steve Garrigola was there with several other TV personalities. I had my picture taken during the raffles with Curtis Gregg, the Michigan Teen Roping Champion, My brothers ride bulls , so I am familiar with rodeo. I loved my escort and look forward to it next year.

Holly High School Self Defense Seminar Nov 18, 2009 All Day

My fisrt speaking engagement doing a seminar on self defense. I was nervous at first but had tons of fun. the girls were so excited to learn the demos and all the guys kept loitering around the door. Every one made me feel so welcome. I had a blast!

Thanks giving Day parade fitting at ROMA SPOSA Oct 24 2009

Wooowee a fitting at an exclusive boutique. The gowns and accessories at Roma Sposa are so exquisite!! They had selected a hot pink gown for me and some outer wear from Chi Chi and Greek salon. We met Molly MacDonald from the Pink Fund and I had a chance to try on their signature necklace.

Oak Prep self defense seminar Oct 24 2009

This school was so welcoming to me. they had flyers and posters up all over the school promotin gthe seminar for self defense!!I had to do an assembly type demo and I brought my sister Faith as my demo buddy. Faith has a Black belt and she made me look good.

Miss Ohio USA and Miss Teen Ohio USa pageant

My mom and I fly down to the pageant in our Cessna 172. It was a gorogous flight down and the city of Portsmouth is so picturesqe!
The pageant was so much fun and Melissa, our director too, did a fantastic production! It was so much fun wathcing and reliving the excitement!
I wore this awesome purple Jovani dress with a decorative butterfly on the back. The best part is,it was an e-bay deal for 20 dollars!
It was so great meeting my new sister queens; Miss Ohio Teen usa 2010 Bridget Linton and the new Miss Ohio Usa 2010, Amanda Tempel. . I also got a fun picture with the MissOhio Teen USA 2009 Kelsey Stevens.
What a big day and we were so tired but too excited to slow down!!!!
The fog rolled in and blanketed the city so we stayed the night and flew home the next day.
It was about a 2 hour flight...faster than the 6 hour drive.

Oct 17, 2009 Miss Washtenaw Pageant Chelsea High School Auditorium

I went to visit the Miss Washtenaw pageant again to see one of our Miss Michiagn Teen contestants! Nicole Mccowan was fabulous and she did very well as 4th runner up. I saw some of my other buddies do well int eh Miss Washtenaw outstanding teen pageant and she won, Coutney Atkley. I also chatted with Alica Jaros Miss Michigan Teen USA 2003 currently Miss Capital City MAO

Womens Self Defense Seminar Class Oct 3 2009

This was the actual seminar offered free to all during October for Womens self defense Awareness. Jen Miles was an awesome instructor. The biggest thing NEW I learned was how to swiftly and relatively politely way to get out of the hold when a guy puts his arm around  your shoulder. Poor Tony from the I Group.

Lawrence Tech hosted the Oakland county 4H awards this year. i was the SCRUBS Club all star award winner.

Northern's Homecoming in Marquette MI Sep 25-26

Britt Harrison, Faith McGhee and I drove to the UP to see the Northern Mi Homecoming game and queen winners. One of our Miss MIchigan USA contestants was in the running and she invited me up! Hayley Eisenhardt was the only freshman nominated! Beautiful area and what a fun bunch of people. Britt also took some pics for me and made me some comp cards, I certainly needed those!

I met with Jen Miles , Rhima ( Miss Michigan USA2010) and 20 or so press people , cameras. TV film people and newspaper reporters along with the current sheriff Mr. Bouchard for a press promotional for the Women's Self defense Seminars. We were on the Fox 2 and 4 news that night!!!
I felt very confident and I learned some new things form the promo. I am currently in Tang Soo Do karate as a red belt.

Miss Michigan Teen USA 2010 pageant Sep18-19, 2009

The pageant was held along with the Miss Michigan USA pageant which made for a fantastic show for all, PLUS I met so many more FRIENDS! We al l gathered in Port Huron Michigan at the Mcmorran Theatre. What a stage, the lights and the professional staff was impressive to this lil ol country girl form Ortonville.

I was stunned with the learning experience I had with the professional that taught us. I would recommend this pageant to any one as it exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. All the contestants were so nice and good all american girls that should make Michigan proud.

I became known as the "butt glue girl" I had this super awesome adhesive and it was a bonding thing we all had going.The only bad part about this awesome glue is that is lasts through evening gown the next day....Anyway...

For me being voted Miss Congeniality was the highlight for me. The idea that Michigans finest voted me as Miss Congeniality was so thrilling.

Making top 15 was the berries for me as it was my first time at USA in a SS, then of course making top 5 was so nervewracking and I found I just wanted to finish with the crown so much at that point yet I was so happy to be there. I really love "on-stage question", that is my favorite part. Naming off runners up, I found my head at my knees and just remember reading the sashes so I could concentrate. BY the time we were down to two of us it was all over and we both knew it and could hardly breathe. My head down and I was reading her sash and we were both saying to each other," Oh ,You won this.." We were both shaking.

The rest is history ...I was swamped with people and with all the screaming from my family I was not sure if some one had been shot!

For me I found to take each moment , even at rehersal, dinner, etc remember as this is a fast two days.
